Anyone on Twitter?

Posted By: ingroup on: 11/5/09 11:46 AM

Hey, just reaching out to see if any of you are on Twitter! Feel free to add me, and I'd be happy to follow in return: http://www.twitter.com/theingroup.

Also thought I'd share LibraryThing.com for any of you who haven't heard of it. A cool little website where you can create a profile and add the books you own as your "library," and connect with users who own the same books.

Cool stuff, hope everyone is doing well.

lol guess i'll be the first to reply. i'm at the part now where bella's getting in the car with Edward. it's wednesday and now she has to answer his questions. i'm really digging the way they're falling in love, it's so real. it reminds me of what i was like when i was younger...

Gay Fiction that isn't tragedy or porn.

Posted By: AlohaStout on: 6/15/09 8:12 PM

I have been working hard to create fiction with gay characters that is well written and not a disease tragedy nor gay pornography (not to insult either genre but to explore other gay literary posibilities) do you think my pursuit is a fools game or a worthy quest?

I also have this posted on my group "Fans of Sugar-baby Bridge"

Your book sounds like everything I am looking for> How is it going?
I definitely think it is a worthy quest. please keep me updated, it would be really nice to find something interesting and fresh!

Of course it is a worthy quest. There is a lot more to being human than disease and porn.

The Amazon Kindle

Posted By: hotdavid on: 6/10/09 3:41 PM

I'm wondering if any of you have an Amazon Kindle? Which Model? Do you like it? Is it worth the money?

I'm thinking of getting one in the future. I like to read but I don't like to have a bunch of books taking up space... especially paperbacks, and I'm thinking the Kindle would be the perfect "space saver" for solving that little problem. Not saying there aren't some books I wouldn't love to keep on the shelf.

I guess I'm just really fascinated by the Kindle and thinking it could even make me want to read more often.... considering if I find enough books to buy for it.... I've seen a lot on Amazon I'd love to read.
