• Saturday Night Out (10/3/09) [View | Hide]

  The Rocky Horror Show is the madcap story of an ordinary, middle-class couple and one unforgettable night at the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a mad scientist from the planet Transexual. Lead characters Brad and Janet have arrived on a very special night, that of the creation of Dr. Furter's ‘beautiful creature’ Rocky, the Adonis humanoid created specifically for the release of the good doctor’s ‘tension’. This cult classic is a non-stop, action-packed package of twisted romance, thrills and chills, and 16 sen-sational songs including “Dammit Janet,” "Sweet Transvestite," "Whatever Happened To Saturday Night?” and the now-classic karaoke anthem, "The Time Warp".

• Going up the Eiffel Tower (7/15/09) [View | Hide]

  Here is video going up in one of the double decked elevators that are in each of the four legs of the tower. Two operate at any given time. One elevator is for the exclusive use of the restaurant. You can walk up the stairs for 4.50 euros or ride the elevator for 8 euros. Each car holds 25 to 30 people so that’s about 60 per trip. You can see people walking up the stairs which is about 115 meters. There was so much conjestion at the very top observation at 276 meters that I was only able to go to the second level. • Going to the Louvre (7/15/09) [View | Hide]

  It was a beautiful morning in Paris, This is the entry courtyard with the pyramids and fountains. The Louvre is the most visited museum in the world. The Louvre Palace began as a fortress in late 12th century. When Louis XIV moved his household to the Palace of Versailles its use turned to the display of the royal collections. It opened as a museum August 10, 1792. Under Napoleon the collection expanded. Today there are over 380,000 objects and 35,000 works of art. In 1983 French President Francois Mitterrand proposed to renovate the building and architect I.M. Pei designed the the glass pyramids for the courtyard. video shot with iPhone 3GS

• Fireworks (7/14/09) [View | Hide]

  Being in Paris for my birthday was fabulous. As part of the their national holiday (LIke our 4th of July) France celebrates Bastille Day on July 14th. They call it Fête Nationale. wikipedia.org/wiki/Bastille_Day Most government & many businesses close, while the city gains masses of people gather around the Eiffel Tower and the vast park areas surrounding it and Avenue des Champs-Élysées. The sidewalk cafes and tourist spots say open. The day starts with a military parade, speeches, aircraft shows overhead. Later in the day bands take the stage and people bring their beverages and food. You see and hear what was going on as far as 2 miles away via the JumboTrons spaced out on sound towers that were set up the length of the mall. The climax of day at 10:45 pm is a fireworks & laser show projected on the Eiffel Tower. There was a mad crush of hundreds of thousands people trying to get home on the Metro afterwards, the police and mass presence of military did a great job with crowd control. The above movie was taken from about 2 miles away on the great mall, you will notice all the flickers of cell phones and cameras recording the event, sorry for the long download will edit down later.

• Priscilla “the musical” (7/11/09) [View | Hide]

  On Sat. night went to see Pricilla Queen of the Desert at the Palace Theatre. If you’ve seen the Oscar®-winning movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, you’ll know that this spectacular new musical tells the hilarious and heart-warming story of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus (named Priscilla) and take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. Comment left on: 11/9/09 6:00 PM Hey Babe! Yeah...its been a tough and humbling year in fantasy football. I can't really explain it myself. You see how bad my Pimps look on some weeks. I can see who has the skills as a team manager though, just by how you handle your team throughout the season. So maybe next season we can have a FULL league of coaches who care about their team and manage their lineups each week. My Pimps are playing the spoiler role now...so yeah, its come to that. haha But its still fun though.
