A Southern boi lost in Yankee territory.
Hey, the name's Richard, although sometimes I go by my middle name Duane. (Don't you forget the name! The rest is a little hard to pronounce. By the way, I enjoy when people have read my profile thoroughly enough to actually know my name.)
Due to growing up mostly without my father, I identify as Asian American more than anything else. But for when people really don't believe me, I say Laotian-Irish American.
I am a dance-pop junky funky drag fag geek-chic super freak.
I enjoy writing for literary magazines and breaking gender norms. Originally, I am from Texas (born in Houston, raised in Ft Worth), which can really suck sometimes. I have black hair and hazel eyes, naturally at least. Deep down inside me there's a green-eyed, redheaded, Asian androgyne screaming to be let out. Draw from that what you will.
I speak English and Spanish, as well as a little bit of Lao, Mandarin, and Serbo-Croatian.
I have a much broader sense of what is attractive than the typical gay guy, although all of my (ex-)boyfriends have blue eyes and wear glasses.
Due to my heritage I have muscular thighs and shoulders. I can't wear skinny jeans, but I'd like to think my bubble butt makes up for that. ;-)
I'm a pollopescatarian (meaning I don't eat mammals), but even then I rarely eat meat. I quite often have days when I eat entirely vegan.
My favorite color is orange! But I know not to cover my profile with it. :)
I've got arthritis in my right hand from an accident when I was 15. A 50lb weight fell on my hand and crushed the joint in my thumb into several pieces. I had pins put in and wore a cast for three months. I'm left handed, though, so my writing wasn't affected. Occasionally I can tell when it is going to rain by the stiffness in my thumb. Both of my knees have large scars on them, each with a different story behind it.
I don't accept friend requests from men over 30. Sorry. The last time I accepted a friend request from someone way older than me, I ended up with a stalker who would not stop calling me...without my telling him my number. It doesn't mean I won't talk to you or anything; I just won't accept your friend request. All you middle aged men have said to me is either sexual or something along the lines of "woof." So, why would I want to lead you on, exactly? I'm obviously not on this site for the same reason as you are.
