Country boys do it better
Hey guys! It's Mason. So I'm finally redoing this a little bit- only because the old one I had was reaching 3 years old. And a lot has happened in those 3 years. I'll be adding a little more from time to time ;)
- I'm still best friends with my mom. She is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. She will come before anyone and everyone in my life. It might not sound fair, but that's how much that woman means to me.
- I miss the country life from time to time. I always miss my friends back there though :( With school the way it is, I don't get to make it home as much as I used to. However, my friends back home know they will always be in my heart <3
- I've dated a couple of guys and its left me somewhat tainted. I've definitely learned a lot about myself from them, so good things do come from them :)
- I'm about to start my 4th year at Kennesaw State. Its been a great (and hellish) 3 years. I still got some more to go, so I'm excited for whats to come!
- My major is Art Education. I'm still trying to decide what age group I'd like to teach. Sometimes I think definitely college professor or high school - but then when I'm with kids I'm reminded how bad I want to mold their little minds. Its probably going to be an internal battle with myself for years to come. Another thing I want to do is start a Gay/Straight Alliance program at the school, and if they already have one, at least have a big role in it. Growing up in the south and being gay wasn't always an easy thing, so I want to help kids in the future. Luckily, I didn't catch too much shit in my high school years, but in middle school, it wasn't as kind. I know just having a place to go knowing that no one was gonna be able to get me or harass me would have been fantastic. I want them to be able to have what I didn't.
*Some random facts to know in case you actually read this*
- Holy shit. Britney is fucking working it. I missed her!
- The whole "i'm straight acting" or "not interested in fems" thing irks the shit out of me. You know, I honestly don't give a damn if you were a huge jock or you like make-up. Just be yourself. That's all that matters. Cuz guess what? You like cock just as much as the queen.
- I can be friends with anyone. I like to focus on the good in people. If we all spent our time focusing on people's mistakes, we would get no where. We wouldn't have any friends. We all make mistakes. It's not my place to judge you.
- People tell me that I am too nice. You know, maybe I am. I don't care though. I like helping people. Whenever I make someone else happy, it makes me happy.
- I am a Christian. *GASP* Yes, its true. I grew up in Church all my life, and my faith is important to me. Its gotten me through a lot of stuff. By no means am I saying I'm this saint, but what I am saying is I'm down with the G-O-D.
- I have a really unhealthy obsession for Celine Dion. I always like to joke with my mom saying she raised a gay man because she was playing this for me as a kid. I have over 200 songs of hers in my Itunes- the most out of any other artist.
- I also have an obsession for American Idol. I could more than likely name you every contestant from every season. Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and Katharine McPhee are the flipping shit.
- I am absolutely terrified of clowns.
- Ice cream is my comfort food.
- Nobody comes before my Mom.
- I loathe Zac Efron.
- Yes, I do have a country accent.
- I have have a thing for cute underwear, and I will spend a lot on money on them if they are cute enough.
- Margaret Cho is fucking hilarious.
- My favorite band is Kittie. No one understands how I can like them. You should check them out ;-)
- There is nothing better than a diva. If you can belt your heart out, you just won me over.
- I'm a sucker for a good chick flick. Diane Keaton is LOVE.
